Chiefs trade 34th pick for Cassel and Vrabel
Chiefs just got Cassel, ON NFLN!

Flipside of your argument-if he played average I would be worried but he did not. He played good and very good at times and DID perform with talent around him which is a future positive thing IMO. I don't like Cassel but I think it's a good trade.

When you look at who we've traded for or drafted with our 2nd's it's not a very impressive list. We know exactly what what we're getting for Vrabel.

If Cassel ends up being a solid no 2 QB he didn't even cost a "whole" 2nd. The risk/reward is huge. And add Vrabel for only a 2nd? I'm no Cassel fan but taking that risk for only a 2nd?

We drafted Brodie in the 3rd...
