Team of Destiny sounds a bit over the top to me. At least, whenever I think of reporting like that, I think jinx - Madden cover level of jinx.

I'm elated with the Tigers' success, but realistically speaking, it will be tough for them to get through this weekend. Memphis then if they win, there's a really good chance they'll be matched up against UCON. That's a tough stretch.

Yeah... I think every Tiger fan agrees. Every one I know, anyway.

Not every mizzurah fan thinks like you. One whom I work with thinks they are going to play UNC for the title.

Of course this is the same guy who will try to make the argument that mizzurah's basketball history is equal to KU.

I've always wondered why you type mizzourah? Is that how you pronounce it, or is that meant condescendingly?

Honestly, it's just nice to be in a position to have the chance to try. And you certainly can't just rule 'em out.

I hope they do whatever it takes to keep Anderson. Guy's cool as a cucumber, and his team reflects that.

Stark contrast to the antics Marquette's coach pulled when the game was on the line.

I was shocked he shook anyone's hand. Dude was completely out of line, and I'm surprised he wasn't called for a technical.

Tough spot for the officials. At that point in the game, if you call him for a T, you (as an official) are blamed for deciding the game. And they want no part of that.

If he'd behaved the same way with say... ten minutes left, I bet he'd have been T'd up.

He wouldn't cover up for that. Ratchet up the level of profanities about 5 notches.

I agree. This is his third year, up until now neither the MU BB program and Anderson's system could expect to attract the better players. What he's done this year will go along way in helping recruiting. I am anxious to see what the next 3 years brings to MU Basketball.

The thing about beaker fans is for every decent guy like Guru or Reerun, there is a noxious asshole like you or hawkchief. You can check every KU game thread - I haven't trolled or said a word to anybody. Everything I have said, in Mizzou threads, was in response to shit somebody else started. The post your idiotic buddy felt compelled to snipe me over was a good natured reply to Ari's good natured smack. But, as is ALWAYS the case, it's impossible to do that around here some jerkoff like you trying to ruin it.

And by the way, how miserable was I when I sent a sympathy card and playground donation to a total stranger who has never once had a kind word to say to or about me?

Ya know, there was a time when I never thought I'd see that guy on anyone's list of "Decent Beakers". I tend to agree, though...
