Dad pointed out something yesterday on the phone. He noticed Missouri wasn't wearing teams down in the Tourney like they did in regular season. Said he thought all the extended TV timeouts were giving the other teams more time to rest.

That has been an issue for years; I think thats why in the past you have seen alot of upsets in the tourney. The better teams are alot of times better because of depth and it shows through a long season. You get in a tournament setting where depth does not matter as much and more stops in play it negates that advantage. Roy Williams always seemed to have that problem, (that and it seems he can't get it done with his own players). It is proving itself out this year through the first two rounds with MU. Carroll and Lyons are both playing several more minutes a game then before. I think there are something like 3 extra stops in play per game during the tournament.
