The Chiefs went to the spread offense for two reasons:
1. Thigpen couldn't play from under center.
2. Thigpen couldn't throw downfield with any consistent accuracy.
So, they adopted many of the philosophies which made Missouri's offense successful. It works in college, because there is less speed on defense.
It doesn't work in the NFL.

Yawn, yeah those are the reasons for going to it. I couldnt have been because the 2 previous starters got put on IR FOR THE REST OF THE SEASON because of the pro style offense

Clathan, stop fooling yourself. I know you guys at WPI dont watch much of Chiefs football, but c'mon!!
