No one, Thigy, Huard, Croyle, Manning, Monatana...no one was going to play under center for the Chiefs in 2008 and stay healthy, let alone be successfull. Because the O-line SUCKED!

But we also know Thigpen cannot play from under center.

The protection can be perfect. But he doesn't have the consistent footwork to drop back from under center, which means he doesn't have the consistent accuracy to complete passes from under center.

Thigpen would have fired wildly on passes Huard was completing in 2006. He's just not an accurate quarterback.

Accurate quarterbacks complete better than 55 percent of their passes, especially in spread offenses that emphasize short passes, which the Chiefs did last year.

dude really. He went 230 completions for 420 attempts last year with numerous dropped balls. He is an ok back-up,...just like Huard was.
