You would have to see the numbers over a whole season, it could just be the conditions there over a few days and that one inning generating all the talk couldn't it?

If anything, the numbers may go higher in the summer.

They'll have to engineer some major fixes.

One of my best friends who lives in New York has already been to the new stadium. He says it sucks, and despite the massive price tag and endless knobjob the Yankees are getting from ESPN over it, the place is nothing special. While I'm sure it's better than its shit-pit predecessor, for the money, it seems they got screwed. And now this on top of it.

Couldn't happen to a more deserving bunch.

I have friends who have gone and said the exact opposite. They say the park design itself is fantastic.

Well, obviously I haven't been there myself. But I trust my friend's judgment, and he's not a Yankee homer (transplanted Chicagoan).

Well then he's either full of shit, or has too high of expectations.

Everyone I know that has been there has gushed over how great it is.
