Matt Cassel will be on BTL tomorrow on 810 WHB around 3:30. According to KK, he will open up the phone lines and Cassel will answer questions from some of the listners. Sounds cool, can't wait!

EDIT: KK said at the beginning of the show that he may not be on! He's obviously not on so I guess they were not able to get him.

I've said several times in this thread that I respect his effort in that game. He DID play a hell of a game. My point all long is, that for Chiefs fans, that's enough. It's happened with every QB we've had since Lenny, and it already seems to be happening with Cassel, and he hasn't even taken a snap in a Chiefs uniform.

That's the precise intention there.

The Chiefs stunk last year, and they've been bad for a while. I get it. Most people get it. Those that don't, you make a mental list of and consider their opinions worthless until they earn your confidence back. Making seemingly every mention of the QB an occasion to attack a large percentage of the posters here is just as stupid as anything the 'true fans' are doing.

Besides, I think I can understand these fans that you speak of, making excuses for mediocre QB's.........It's all the Chiefs have ever had. Why else would everyone have such a boner for Rich freakin' Gannon?

Gannon found a system that worked for him and took his team to the Super Bowl. He was voted the League MVP. He went to 4 Pro Bowls and was a first team All Pro twice. Why wouldn't people want that?
