Matt Cassel will be on BTL tomorrow on 810 WHB around 3:30. According to KK, he will open up the phone lines and Cassel will answer questions from some of the listners. Sounds cool, can't wait!

EDIT: KK said at the beginning of the show that he may not be on! He's obviously not on so I guess they were not able to get him.

The Patriots were 3rd, and the Chiefs 24th.

Expecting Cassel to come anywhere near his numbers from last year without all that RAC is unrealistic, IMO.

Sanchez is also going to benefit from a much better line, and likely won't be sacked as much.

could some of that RAC be BECAUSE of the accuracy cassel has?

Some of it, sure.

We'll see how much of it is due to Cassel this year, as he plays without Moss and Welker.

I know Sanchez probably doesn't have the best WR-crew either, but they can't be any worse than the Chiefs.

Their backfield is much better than ours when it comes to the passing game and YAC.

Like I said, it might be a lot closer than people think.

I know most people think I'm out of my mind for going total yards, but the Chiefs WR's and LINE are going to make life very trying for Cassel, and we rarely if EVER do shit on yards after the catch unless our guys happen to be wide-open with not a damned soul in sight to stop them.
If Waters holds out and doesn't show up, it get's REAL interesting at that point.

The Chiefs are going to be terrible this coming season, and teams who are digging out of a hole don't usually run the ball a lot.

Cassel will put up some numbers by default.

Actually, it really can. You should take a look at that group they've got. Of course, I expect them to scour the cut lists just as I expect the Chiefs to do it.

Everybody just concludes that Haley won't run, but I think we saw otherwise in the SB( though it really didn't work for shit ).

But he's stated, and quite clearly, that he DOES in fact want to get in to the habit of pounding the football.
