****Official Revisionist History Thread****

I can't wait to hear about how clutch Cassel is in the 4th quarter.
About how brilliant that underthrow to Chambers for the TD (and the two underthrows to Bowe were)
About how his QB rating from 5:00 in was perfect.

So, let's ignore the game and crown him king of the prevent

Because honestly if you let Cassel do that for an entire game he'll throw picks and like it or not part of this year is about protecting Cassel...his stats make him look better than he's played.

I am not on the Cassel sucks bandwagon yet but when the playbook gets opened up he is money most of the time.

When Haley was hired I was expecting the more aggressive approach like we have seen several times this season at the end of games. But Haley's play calling in the first half is Hermesque.

Morgan didn't get out of position in pass D often, didn't make any big mistakes, didn't take bad angles, and was damn good in run support.

He still needs to develop, but he played well, and teamed with Berry or Mays, we could have a tremndous safety tamdem moving into the future.

Maybe but he doesn't throw INT's at the end of games. They just need to open it up more.

Only a dumbass would think that Morgan played poorly.

Dude did really ****ing well for his first start. Didn't get beat deep, kept everything in front of him, and missed *1* tackle, and that was after he wrapped up, but MJD got bulldozed in by his line.

After how Mike Brown played I'm on the Berry/Mays sweepstakes bandwagon.

For sure,Morgan played well today in his first start. Hopefully Haley will be smart enough too keep him in the starting lineup.

I don't think he played poorly but that first TD he either completely whiffed or went to the wrong hole from what I could tell but he was the run support on that play.

He also filled numerous gaps in run support that helped other guys stop MJD. On one play in particular, they blitzed him and he got past the OL and forced the play to the outside, where DeMorrio whiffed but we got MJD down for almost no gain.

I completely screwed up that post. I thought it said Brown.

Morgan did not do horribly. There's something to build on there.

I really think Morgan can be a pretty good safety. He just needs the playing time. Iam sure he will make some mistakes as well but in the long run the Chiefs will be better with him in there.

Dude, you are fighting a losing battle. There are about 3 people on this entire board who think Morgan had a decent game and that is only because that supports their agenda.

I was hoping he would play well, I was not rooting against him.

Before you question my football knowledge you need to check where your personal agenda and opinions are affecting your stances on things.

I'd love to see you breakdown of all Morgan's ****-up's today.

For the one obvious mistake in run support on the Jennings TD (which was highlighted by Brown's incompetence) he had many other solid plays in run support, and was rarely if ever out of position in the passing game.

We'll wait.

Look, I agree wholeheartedly that Cassel isn't the answer. He looked serviceable in those last drives. That's not what I want in my starting QB though. I don't want serviceable. He did move us down the field, so he made me eat my hat there. But he still looks like he's holding our WR's back with his inaccuracies. If he could throw the ball better we would have more YAC instead of our receivers diving for the ball to make it in the first place. And we still lost.
