How can you see both sides? Dana was ready to give him (by far) the biggest and richest UFC contract ever.

Dana White built the company from the ground up to what it is today....MMA wouldnt be as popular as it now if it wasn't for him. White lets his UFC fighters promote their own shit, on pants, fighting gear, the banners they hang from the sides of the cages...etc.

M1 Global wanted a big chunk of profits everytime Fedor fights. That would be like you starting a company and then having someone come in and take some of your profits. The russians claim it isn't about money, which is why he's making less now on Strikeforce, but ironically it IS about money because they wanted to co-promote and take some of UFC's profits from whenever Fedor fights.

wrong. wrong. he chooses who the fighters can support. they Do want cross promotion. they are fedor's boys from way back and he's looking out for them. same as the fertita's and dana. ufc (dana) is ****ing greedy, and i would be willing to bet that dana doesnt have NEAR the control he had a couple of years ago. I would also bet he's only there because people hate him and thats good for ratings.


oh and dana SAID he offered fedor a lot of money, but who really knows? if it was enough M-1 may not be as worried about the cross promoting.


fedor WANTS to fight the best hence the clause in his M1 contract that they have to offer the ufc champ 1 million more than his whole contract is worth for one fight against fedor
