So that was the end of the Mangino era, the most successful run in the history of the program. I hope Perkins knows what he's doing.

As for the loss itself...quite a good game between two incredibly flawed teams. KU made more mistakes then MU did, and that was ultimately the difference. Just the way she goes.

just got back from the game and man am I hammered drunk.

great game for both teams. MU's secondary is piss poor, Briscoe lit them up all game, having said that he was the reason why MU won, he couldnt hold onto the ball either.

I was scratching my head why Pinkel went for 2 early in the 2nd half, just me though.

Traffic getting out was a nightmare. Someone stole my friends cooler, had about 20 beers left in it. People are pieces of shit who go around and take things out of people's beds of their trucks.

I never said that Rome sucked. It's my understanding that Mizzou didn't want Tyler Gabbert. To be honest, I bet he might de-commit if Mizzou pressed the issue, especially now that Blaine Dalton is off the team. Nebraska is still going to get players from the state of Missouri, but Pinkel has been getting first dibs.

You could make an argument that he has been calling dibs on some of the wrong guys (Dalton over Schelhaase [sp.]), but snagging Maclin and Gabbert really set the tone.
