Thanks for rubbing it in that we went to a shitty prevent defense at the very end and let Central Washington score what would have been the game-tying TD in about one minute's worth of time.

Seriously though, it was a very tense, entertaining game. Both defenses played huge at huge moments.

Northwest hosts California (PA) next week in the national semifinals. Should Northwest advance to the National Championship game for the 5th consecutive year, the matchup would be poetic. They would either play Grand Valley State, who the Bearcats lost to in both 05 and 06 in the title game or Carson-Newman who the Bearcats defeated in the title game in both 98 and 99.
