Football Broncos @ Chiefs ... time for craziness! - Page 8

I figured I would post this since it's "Broncos/Chiefs" week (or Chiefs/Broncos, whichever you prefer)

I have no grand visions of an easy win for Denver by any stretch of the imagination. Everyone knows that despite the fact that KC has been down lately and not playing well at home, it's a divisional game... and anything can and typically does happen. Somehow, the Chiefs have a knack for giving the opposing QB hell in games at Arrowhead. The Chiefs would love to win this one, they're playing pretty well at times despite the issues. KC had a huge win two weeks ago at home and played poorly this past week.

Denver shook off the 0-4 streak and won soundly at home vs the Giants. The Broncos need a win to keep pace with the Chargers and to put some distance between them and the other wildcard contenders.

It's not a "must win", but it is a "greatly needed" win for the Broncos... stats are stats and if you look at the numbers, Denver should probably win. I'm sure one of my counterparts (yeah that guy) will be along soon to state why Denver should totally dominate this week... I've been through this rodeo before, so I will continue to temper my enthusiasm with a nice dose of reality.

If Denver plays like they did against the Giants... which is how they played for most of the 6-0 stretch, they will win this game. If the defense has a bad start and if the Oline can't protect Orton, then it's going to be a long day.

So, here's to a fun week of cyber kicking each other in the nards...

I don't think I would read to much into what happened yesterday. Sometimes things just snow ball and all you can do it go along for the ride. This team can beat the donks. I expect the game to be close, but still a 7 point (or more) win for the chefs.

Kind of hard to get up for this game considering the Chiefs were eliminated from playoff contention back in May.

Reverse Karma is not needed in this game. It will just change the final from 24-10 to 31-10. Denver wins of course.

Here is McDaniels presser for this week. He pretty much talks about the Chiefs the whole time and talks about coaching Cassel last year...

I didn't know this stat... The Chiefs have only lost 6 or 7 games at home in December the past 18 years.
