With the recent Tiger Woods affair in the news, it makes me wonder if the majority of men are douchebags to their wives? So, out of curiousity, what is ur affair status? What do u think causes men to have an affair?

I'm asking only the men, (sry ladies).

I never have and never will. take that to the bank.

That doesn't mean that I don't see at least 1 woman at some point pretty much every day that my hangdown doesn't say "hey...psst...I'll bet that would be fun". It's just a fact that you can take the dog out of the hunt but you can't take the hunt out of the dog.

I've been married for 19 years and have never strayed. Like others have said, I see gals all the time that it does run through my head (don't know which one) thinking wow that looks like a good time. But I just move on about my day.

Garbage. All you are is providing an apologetic reasoning for weak-minded and morally bankrupt individuals who give other men a bad rap. There are instances of animals (otters, foxes, etc.) who have a single mate for life.

OK to find a gal, work your super cool Fonzie moves and get her to sign a "yes, I'd F you" golf-like score card, make her check "Bathroom" "parking lot" "hotel" or "her house" to give an idea of your timeframe.....

plink...no one gets hurt, but you still know who won.

I'd don't miss the headaches, bullshit games, drama, chance at VD or any of that crap.....but the thrill of the hunt, maybe a little bit.

I married up, so I guess all I can really do is pretend I still think I've got mojo, pretend to be cool on the internet and know that I'm good where I'm at.

This is my thoughts. Affair is a little nebulous.

After my Mrs. had her affair, I had many inappropriate conversations with a woman. And continued after we reconciled. I was a little concerned that the reconcilliation wasn't real. Plus, it was fun. Never went any farther, and now it's done. Did I have an affair?

This sounds more like a person who is totally scared of any type of relationship/commitment and who has probably been hurt or cheated on before so now is a member of the "he-man woman haters" club. Sorry dude, your not living in reality if you really agree with what you posted, maybe it was said tongue in cheek...who knows. Cheating and being unfaithful is NOT an accident, it's a decision. So is STAYING faithful, it doesnt happen by accident either.

I would say no..

its a very fine line... and one that is very easy to cross

I tried to cheat with this chick who I did have inappropriate online conversations with, but I was so nervous about doing it I couldnt get it up...

I have also had permission to bone my wifes friend when she wasn't getting any at home, that was much better - esp when I was doing her and her friend at once..

The current gal I am chatting with I am hoping to be another good friend to the both of us ;-) am I currently having an affair? IDK.. and if its wrong.. I dont want to be right.
