Broncos @ Chiefs ... time for craziness!

I figured I would post this since it's "Broncos/Chiefs" week (or Chiefs/Broncos, whichever you prefer) .

I have no grand visions of an easy win for Denver by any stretch of the imagination. Everyone knows that despite the fact that KC has been down lately and not playing well at home, it's a divisional game... and anything can and typically does happen. Somehow, the Chiefs have a knack for giving the opposing QB hell in games at Arrowhead. The Chiefs would love to win this one, they're playing pretty well at times despite the issues. KC had a huge win two weeks ago at home and played poorly this past week.

Denver shook off the 0-4 streak and won soundly at home vs the Giants. The Broncos need a win to keep pace with the Chargers and to put some distance between them and the other wildcard contenders.

It's not a "must win", but it is a "greatly needed" win for the Broncos... stats are stats and if you look at the numbers, Denver should probably win. I'm sure one of my counterparts (yeah that guy) will be along soon to state why Denver should totally dominate this week... I've been through this rodeo before, so I will continue to temper my enthusiasm with a nice dose of reality.

If Denver plays like they did against the Giants... which is how they played for most of the 6-0 stretch, they will win this game. If the defense has a bad start and if the Oline can't protect Orton, then it's going to be a long day.

So, here's to a fun week of cyber kicking each other in the nards...

Broncos 23
Chiefs 20

Homer, Homer, Homer.....Just when it looks like you may eventually be able to step out of Rose collored glasses, ubber homerism, gosh damnit they'll win.... especially because they're the Doncos mindset you have you go and completely fail on reading comprehension. The planet is voting for 'King of the BOOBS'. The good news is you'll be winning....bad news.....you'll still be a Boob AND a Donco Homer.

In McDaniels press conference today he said that Colquit might be one of the best punters of alltime.

Tell your team they need to be looking somewhere else for access to a building full of naked, showering, proffesional athletes. The Chiefs don't swing that way. While your at it tell their damn fans they'll also need to look somewhere else to get their salad tossed.

How do the Raiders or Chargers have a better secondary than Denver? Cromartie had one good season, Weddle is average at best, Ellison is a freaking 7th round draft pick rookie, and Jammer is a solid corner.

The Raiders have Nnamdi and that is it. Michael Huff is an epic bust. Chris Johnson was claimed off waivers last year for the Raiders. And I don't even know who their other safety is.

Andre Goodman and Renaldo Hill would start for 90% of the teams in the NFL. Probably a third of our 32 sacks this year were coverage sacks.
Baily is no longer the best in the league. That's pure homerism. Trevis and that faider are the best.

Pete Prisco pointed out that the Broncos are 1-16 at Arrowhead in December. Wow.
