Taken: The Movie
Who's gonna see it? I don't know if it's just been shoved down my throat so much in the last couple of weeks or what, but I think this looks pretty compelling.

I've seen the commercial no less than 2 dozen times this weekend watching football. If it's gonna be an ass kicker, I'm in for sure.

I'm in. I posted about it in the Movies thread a while back. I like Neeson. It looks to be good. Hopefully it is laced with some mad passionate violence also.

Huh, I've watched every game and haven't seen a single one. Course I wasn't paying much attention either. Regardless, its got Liam Neeson, its got to be decent at least.

I have heard the premise is good. Supposedly based on real world events dealing with the international sex trades. I might have heard wrong, but I am sure any dad out there with a daughter is really going to like this movie (if good guy wins).

Just a great the second time too. Blu Ray unrated version.

This movie freaking rules, a little outrageous, but who cares. Liam Neeson killing everyone in his path.
When he told that Albanian guy, told you i would find you. One of the best scenes ever. |

it's a cool movie; cool plot etc.
Liam is cool; I didn't think he could pull it off, but he did. I saw him on the Daily Show when the movie first came out and apparently he's a big "pugelist' (sp?) guy?...boxer etc. he's a big MF too...isn't he like 6'5"?

Gotta agree with you here. I hadn't seen this movie since it was in theatres (I had the dvd screener about a month or so before the movie hit theatres mind you). That being said it was on HBO a couple nights ago as I was flipping through the channels and I figured since I hadn't seen it in about a year or so why not give it a go. Damn I almost had forgotten how kick ass this flick really was. Fricken love it. Probably one of my favorite movies of all of last year.

A bunch of ridiculous nonsense in this movie, but I love it.
The next time you watch it, check how many times his daughter is running. In almost every scene, she's sprinting. |
