Personally I really like Blowfish but if he said you deserve to be fired to Haley he deserves the finger he got. Go to anyones job and tell them "you suck and you should be fired" and I'll bet you get the one finger salute or worse 98.4% of the time.

Its not that simple. Its like if you worked for Sprint and someone came into your office and yelled "YOU SUCK AT YOUR JOB AND YOU SHOULD BE FIRED" I doubt it garners a good result.

And then that person would be fired. End of story.

I believe what Blowfish said, but without proof I think Haley is in the clear. I have had customers lie about me before and I hate when the company takes their side over mine without any proof.

If proof were to arise, however, I do believe Haley should be fined and ordered to appoligize to GB (possible compensation for all of GBs stress and anguish occuring from the incident). I don't believe he should be fired over this instance though. But if you take it with all the other crap he has done to deserve being fired, it might not be such a bad idea.

How about an analogy....

Say you've been going to this same pizza place your whole life. You've always enjoyed your pizza. You always tipped well, and had for all purposes been a good loyal customer. The pizza place had taken a lot of your money through the years, and you knew a lot of others that dined there to. But the last few years, the quality of pizza really declined. You still ate there because you'd been doing so most your life. You hoped it would get better. Now say that the pizza place you loved came under new management recently. And your next visit, the new manager came out to your table and promised you that he would do his best to improve the quality of pizza, and make that pizza the best in town again. You said great, I've been coming this long, show me what you've got. But after a few months, the pizza quality didn't improve. On several visits, it was actually much worse. Then you get a flyer in the mail. It's customer appreciation day at the pizza place. Come in for a free order of breadsticks. After suffering through terrible pie after terrible pie, you'd just about had enough. But you decided you'd give it one more try. You get there and take your seats. And you order your free order of breadsticks, but the waiter tells you they're out of breadsticks. When your pizza arrives, the order was wrong and it was cold. You ask to see the manager. When he finally shows up at your table, you tell him he deserves to be fired. He flips you off and walks away.

Were you in the wrong?

That would usually be true, but if you happen to coach a pro sports team then I think it comes with the job. Coaches have been hearing that stuff since the days of Walter Camp and Pop Warner.
