Alright First Kiss Question.
No this isn't my first kiss, but it would be with my current girlfriend. Kissing my last girlfriend was never a big deal, probably because I had known her for 10 plus years, so I had a comfort level very high with her. Anyways I may try and snatch a kiss tonight when the clock strikes 12. I think it's funny though because I like her quite a bit, and have been nervous thinking about it. I know insert Frank from Everybody Loves Raymond jokes "Just do it Nancy".

I was just curious to see some first kiss stories, not just first kiss in general, but first kiss with different GF's or SO's. I'm sure there has to be a couple hilarious stories out there. The first time I kissed my last GF, I thought it was gonna be a tame kiss, and she went all opened mouth on me and tried to bite my lips off. I was like dang tiger . My luck with this girl, I would go in for the kiss and she would whip her head around and I would plant one on her eye or something

I'd go for sooner rather than later, but remember that girlfriend doesn't have to lead to fiance or wife. Especially at 17. Or 20.

That was my mistake in my 20s. Girlfriend led directly to wife, do not pass go. You're actually at the age where I'd say folks might want to start thinking longer term. But not much before. Although you don't have a lot of relationship experience, which can lead to problems as you learn the ropes.

I think the best route is dating a lot in your early to mid-20s and then starting to get serious in your mid- to late-20s. But that's just me. I acknowledge that some people have done fine having families earlier.

And of course the most valuable thing to know is that these things don't tend to follow timetables anyway.

Never worry about it. Just live your life. Find gainful employment, an affordable residence, and make some friends outside of the internet. And find an avenue to ask a girl out every once in awhile. Not rocket science.

This response is plenty fun and trashy but what if the kid is disabled, disfigured, or somehow dysfunctional. I'm not suggesting we be overly sensitive to everybody on here but there are some signs in this thread.

Couldn't agree more, and boy do I know this one
First wife was a girlfriend at 19, a wife by 21, divorcie at 33, and enjoying MY $385,000.00 in a settelment which took me 7 years of fuggen missery to clear up, and get my life back together.

Let me get this straight... you have been dating this girl for 5 months, finally made it official that you're g/f and b/f, there hasn't been so much as a kiss exchanged, and she wrecked your car?

Even though she wasn't "technically" your g/f when she wrecked your car, that still should have entitled you to at least a bj. It's in the rule book, (tell her this and she's yours).

I think anyone that gets married before they are thirty is insane. Hell you've just recently figured out who you are. If people wait and live their life they aren't left with the thoughts of wishing they would have done this or got to experience that. I think when people marry too young those things lead to resentment......of course not always, but have seen this play out more times than I can count. I don't have any hard facts or numbers to back this theory up, but have a ton of friends that got married very young and are now either divorced or completely miserable in their decision only staying together for the kids. That's no way to live. The most successful marriages I see are from people in their late twenties and beyond. Alot of them are people that have been married and divorced and now know what mistakes they've made and know what they're looking for. At that point in life you know who you are, are somewhat financially secure, and have lived your life in your formative years on your terms. Just think if's helpful to have lived your life first before you start trying to live it with someone else. Just my opinion!
