Question: IYO, what has Pioli done to give you hope he knocks this offseason out of the park? |

I called it right away...I knew none of you would like Pioli. Dude, that Patriots fans themselves, until a couple of years ago, ALWAYS hated EVERY single draft...that's just how it was...the Patriots drafted the players they thought fit their system regardless of whether it was a reach or not... Hey...looking back on it...Tyson Jackson looks like a god awful pick...Matt Cassel looks less than iffy at best...Alex Magee looks like a waste... You're right, right now...it doesn't look so great. But like I said, I'm willing to give that draft class and Matt Cassel another year...as well as Pioli and Haley...before I get critical. I still wouldn't mind seeing the Chiefs trade up to take Clausen or Bradford if they fall past 16th or so...they have the pieces and at least we could hedge our bets on Cassel...drafting a QB towards the middle-end of the 1st is like paying for a decent QB2 anyways...and best case scenario is we end up with something similar to the Brees/Rivers situation in San Diego. I don't feel like getting into that right now...I said all along I wasn't going to let this year impact any thoughts I'd have on Pioli...if you and Hamas want to berate that stance by me and others then so be it. |

Jesus, dude. There are mountains of posts and thread where we came right out and SAID he wasn't our first choice before he was ever hired. Hell, I had few expectations to begin with, but he didn't even meet those. And again, what has Pioli done that gives any impression he can meet your expectations? Anyone? Feel free. Can anyone answer that question? |

Your point? C'mon, Jason. Even the casual fan knew what this team had - next to nothing. There's no excuse for not upgrading the talent. None. |
