Good game, I thought this would be our first loss.

At least we don't have to worry about that undefeated talking and don't have the pressure of being #1.

The loss was on the road to a ranked opponent. The Summit is not a cake-walk venue. Not a loss to be ashamed of...the way we played, well, there are some things to be ashamed of about that. For one, the team left their feet in Lawrence.

I am happy to shake the #1 ranking, and happy to get the loss out of the way prior to conference play.

Would like to be ranked outside the top 10, but that wont happen.

This will come off as piling on, but KU's not getting a pass on this one. Tennessee dressed 9 damn players, 3 of them walk-ons. There's no reason they should win this game, none. I can see KU coming out sluggish in the first half to an inspired team. But come halftime the excuses go out the door. This is a bad sign for KU.

I'll agree with this. I'm very unhappy with this game. They've had several close games that should have woke them up. Memphis should have gotten their heads out.

Bruce Pearl has a good record at The Summit regardless who he is playing.
