I guess it just depends on you POV. I've always found it to be in poor form to get players involved with anything other than playing. Organizational issues are for management. The two, imo, shouldn't be crossed. It sets a precedent that will most likely have a very slippery slope. jmho

Exactly, it didn't work out so well for the Chiefs, when the players picked Frank Ganz to be HC.
