Eh, it would definitely be something to see, but that's life. Sanchez is going to be a solid NFL starter, but he obviously landed in a better situation in NY. He wouldn't even be in the playoffs if he was in KC. He's actually in a similar situation to Roethlisberger... gets to be a rookie on a team with the best run game and defense in the league to protect him. As opposed to the Chiefs, where he'd had no protection. And who knows how we would've butchered his development. Sometimes that's the difference between Mark Sanchez and Brady Quinn.

Denver rookie QB John Elway, on Jack Lambert, after Lambert and the Steelers knocked Elway out of his first game as a pro (1983).

I'm hysterical that all of the "hot" teams were knocked out of the playoffs --

In 2007 Green Bay wanted the Giants -- They got the Giants and lost -- The Colts wanted the Jets -- Now they got the Jets ----------------

You really think Sanchez would have done the same thing with our defense? He's proven that he can't put the team on his shoulders. Number 1 defense. Number 1 rush team. This is a perfect spot for a rookie qb to go far in the playoffs. Not KC's craphole defense. I still agree with you that Jackson was a reach and hasn't panned out, but I think Sanchez has shown all of us that he is not ready to be a great QB. He's a QB who is told to be safe and not lose the game.

My kid is a big Philip Rivers/Chargers fan. After the game, he said he now hates the Jets. With a tear in my eye at that proud moment, I told him he's now officially an NFL fan because he has a team to hate...)

Looks like T-Rich decided to "borrow" something from his time in KC.

I can't believe T- Rich is still playing NFL football. I'm very happy for him.
