If you have any questions regarding your surgery, I would recommend talking to your doctor. I'm sure it depends on what exactly they're doing while they're in there, as I'm sure there are different forms of decompression surgery. What goes for one person may not go for you.

Its hard to talk directly to the dr unless I make an appointment which costs me 40 dollars, a little to much to pay everytime I have to ask him something.

You can't call your doctor's office regarding a question concerning you going under? I'd switch doctors.

I have asked to talk to him and the nurse calls me back, I asked her exactly what kind of surgery I was having and she said decompression, then I find out there are several kinds, so I don't exactly know which kind they are doing. I can talk to him the morning of the surgery, I have to be there at 5am and it starts at 7:30am
