The guy has turned into a good player. Why does it matter what 75% of the board said about him? What matters is we had talent evaluators that were horrid and cast off any quality defensive talent we had in favor of high-priced busts.

A lot of people have problems with guys who are solid role players. They think everyone has to be a Willis type LB. LBs don't get a lot of respect on this board. People didn't like Mitchell, Maslowski and some were happy when Donnie Edwards left town because "all of his tackles were 8 yards downfield".

Man, if I were a football player, I would be thrilled to be drafted by the Chiefs. You know that as soon as you are cut by this team, you will be picked up by another team that recognizes your talents and will wind up going to the Super Bowl.

This is pretty true. Fujita isn't the type of dude who would have turned the Chiefs around all by himself, but he has some real value obviously.

Turns out that Gun + Herm was the absolute worst coaching tandum the Chiefs could have hired. Both were exposed as the frauds they are. Gives a whole new meaning to "Dumb & Dumber"

I found it very amusung that is didn't take Gun long to throw Herm and his cover 2 crap under the bus, the second Detroit hired him. It was so Herm-like...
