Official 2010 Hall of Fame Announcement Discussion Thread.

The announcements are coming up. Hopefully they shut out the undeserving Broncos.

Dermontti Dawson – Center – 1988-2000 Pittsburgh Steelers

Shannon Sharpe – Tight End – 1990-99, 2002-03 Denver Broncos, 2000-01 Baltimore Ravens (and believe me, I want to rate him last by several miles)

Roger Craig – Running Back – 1983-1990 San Francisco 49ers, 1991 Los Angeles Raiders, 1992-93 Minnesota Vikings

Charles Haley – Defensive End/Linebacker – 1986-1991, 1999 San Francisco 49ers, 1992-96 Dallas Cowboys

John Randle – Defensive Tackle – 1990-2000 Minnesota Vikings, 2001-03 Seattle Seahawks

Tim Brown – Wide Receiver/Kick Returner – 1988-2003 Los Angeles/Oakland Raiders, 2004 Tampa Bay Buccaneers

Floyd Little* – Running Back – 1967-1975 Denver Broncos (the whiniest candidate ever, other than maybe Crying Baby Harry Carson)

Andre Reed – Wide Receiver – 1985-1999 Buffalo Bills, 2000 Washington Redskins

Cortez Kennedy – Defensive Tackle – 1990-2000 Seattle Seahawks

Russ Grimm – Guard – 1981-1991 Washington Redskins

Oddly, they're considering him as a player, so they don't count any non-playing experience. I guess you go in as a player or as a contributor, but they don't combine. They were just talking about that on NFL Network.

hell, he had 62 career INT's and three defensive touchdowns. if he gets in just as a player, can we get johnny robinson into the hall? five less INT's, but fifteen more touchdowns and more impressive stats otherwise.

Okay, they just announced the ten modern-era finalists, but the morons won't review which five are out. Bad, bad coverage. They just talked about Haley being out, since he was a Cowboy. Not sure who the other four rejects are yet.

Stupid, stupid coverage so far.

Tim Brown is out in the first round. Not a surprise to me. He wasn't a game-breaker.
