Well this doesn't cover the entire draft. I'm disappointed.

Okay, I will. The draft for the Chiefs will be based upon if they address the proper needs. They need to get a QB, whether it's Clausen or not, the QB position needs to be addressed. I do not find any Mizzou player helping out the Chiefs.

Haley and Pioli will turn the Chiefs around but Matt Cassel will not be the QB that turns the Chiefs around.

You seriously don't think Weatherspoon could help the Chiefs? I'm not saying we take him @5 but he would help us if we did find a way to land him, which wont happen.

He would help the Chiefs but when I was saying Mizzou players, I was talking about the likes of Alexander. Weatherspoon will either be gone at the end of the 1st Round or he'll be picked early in the 2nd before the Chiefs pick. I heard that the Chiefs resigned their former Center today. Does that affect anything for the draft plans of the Chiefs?

Are we talking about the Chiefs or the Rams?
I agree KC needs to address the qb position but after signing MC to a contract with a lot of guaranteed money, I would be very surprised if they spent as high of a pick (and the nature of how large the contract will be) as it will take to get Clausen on that position (although that doesnt mean that is what I feel they should do, as my sig can show you). If St Louis passes on a QB (and IMHO not the one from the spread) for anyone except for Suh, it will be a complete waste of a draft. I wouldnt care what happened after that unless the stars align for them and every other team gets reeruned and players fall left and right for them. Suh will surely lead the team who drafts him into a run of great defenses. |

The bold part defines what the Rams have done mostly through out the decade. The only way I can see them not getting Suh, McCoy, Bradford or Clausen is if they trade back far enough to get C.J. Spiller, who the Rams have high on their draft board. The Chiefs seems like they are turning the corner and Pioli is making KC New England West. |

The Turley mention was a joke. Cassel only had success in New England because he had talent around him. Not a knock on the Chiefs or anything, but when you go from New England to KC, there's a large drop off. Croyle hasn't turned out into the player the Chiefs thought he would be. If he had, Cassel wouldn't be there.
