It didn't freaking matter. You can't sleepwalk all the ****ing time. Eventually it was going to catch up with them. Hopefully the young guys can take a lesson from this. It sucks ass though. The probability of winning the big one without Sherron and probably Cole drops dramatically.

I still love Collins. But he was a big reason for the loss today. Facts are facts. Self is still a great coach but he let the pressure get to his team. I don't know if he could have done something different to change that.

Another thing was they were getting a SHIT TON of long offensive rebounds. They would clank off the rim and over all of KU's players in the paint. Can't do anything about that.

The Jayhawks had their best run of the game when Sherron and Cole were on the bench. They are great players, but the team will be fine next year with the players who are coming back.

Nope. He didn't. He's stubborn sometimes. He's a great coach even still w/ his system. I said at the 10 minute mark of the first half, hell, before the game we need to full court trap them. You lose to a team like that because they limit possessions and then have an aberration of making some three point shots. That is what happened.

Look what happened when we full court pressed them at the end. We got some turnovers........shoulda done it all game. Should have done it against Bucknell, Tennessee, SIU, and now UNI.

But even w/ that said. Self won a championship. Self has been a great coach since he was at Tulsa. He just needs to adjust to teams play a largely contrasting style. The same that Roy needs to do when he has teams that can't play his game.

There are coaches that are better recruiters than Self, and worse in-game coaches. There are coaches that are worse recruiters, and better in-game coaches than Self. But I still don't think you are going to find a coach that is a way above avg recruiter, way above avg in game coach, and a great ambassador for the game for the university as coach Self
