Well, ALL prescription medications are poisons by definition, the trick is to dose them in a way that they do more good to you than bad. If they weren't poisons, they would be OTC and wouldn't be strictly controlled by prescriptions. Shit, even then, ****ing Tylenol is DEADLY to your liver if you take too much in even as little as over a few days.

Like I said, talk to your MD or pharmacist, they'll let you know what you can and can't do. Also, don't fret too much, lol. People live out long lives on statins, without which your life can be cut short in a split second or even worse can cripple you in the worst ways.

lol, i hear what you are saying. I def. will ask my dr, he already knows I socially drink from time to time but never mentioned anything about the alcohol part to me when the med was prescribed, just told me to eat better and get some exercise.

Well, like I told Dane, listen to your doctor and not me. If he knows you drink from time to time and didn't say anything, he feels you're safer than safe.

Very true, i will def. ask him specifically but I can understand the possible issues, maybe for more so for people that drink alot all the time, which im surprised he didn't say anything to me about it i just had to look it up on the net. Appreciate you taking time out to respond, thanks.
