*****OFFICIAL 2010 NFL Draft Thread*****

Here we go, all things draft for the next at least 3 days.

I think it's about time I started one of these things, hopefully I'll bring some good luck to the draft so we don't **** this up.

I love the Asamoah pick.

It's just hard to get excited about after the cluster**** second round.

Maybe Scarl Pioterson can do a good job tomorrow so that today doesn't look like such a sorryass result.

Tate would have made it to 2b and done the same damned thing...

Denver rookie QB John Elway, on Jack Lambert, after Lambert and the Steelers knocked Elway out of his first game as a pro (1983).

4 starting rookies that make an impact day one? Nope.

Berry - Starter

McCluster - Will play immediately but not start, catch passes maybe return kicks.

Arenas - Nickel back - contributes immediately, returns kicks, contributes.

Ummm sounds like players who will play.

I agree we need DL help though.

Who gives a shit?

We shouldn't have taken him with any of those picks.

Like I said, that's nice. The Eagles are a nearly complete team that can burn a pick on a luxury player.

The Chiefs are not, this team has no core, what we did is like buying a gold chain when you live in a cardboard box.

Our draft so far isn't as bad as people think.

I could live with this, except, I think they should've gone with a linebacker instead of Arenas. Sean Lee would've been my pick for the Chiefs.

Berry is a lock down stud who will make an immediate impact.

McCluster, even though some don't like that pick, I think he is going to make an impact on this team as well. You gotta see this kid. He is a football player. The dude can FLAT out play. He is smart, tough, and incredibly fast. Size is an issue with him, but he'll make up for it. He's a great character as well being that he is a man of faith. He'll improve the return game, gives the team explosiveness with his speed. He'll play the slot and will be our multi-purpose player. He'll make this team more dimensional and gives them more options. I could see him as a Sproles type of player. I think a grade C is too low for him. His grade should be a B or B+. Yup Id rate him that high. I really like the kid and am high on him. I think he is going to make our team better.

Jon Asamoah is good value in the third. Waters is getting old, and his play is declining. I agree with Mayock, he could start immediately. I think the Chiefs could've used a lineman anyway? Lilja is a good signing, but is it a secure one barring his nagging injuries.

I'd give the Chiefs 3 out of 4 on their picks. Take away one mark for not drafting a linebacker. Lee should of been our pick.

Well maybe KC expects Dorsey and Jackson to get a lot better and for that guy from Cleveland to stop up the middle for 15 to 20 plays per game. You're acting like Jackson and Dorsey have maxed out. If they have it wouldn't matter who KC would of drafted at NT or LB.

KC can still get a two down ILB thumper in the 4th .

We've spent a lot of high picks on the DL the last few years, it's nice to see them address other areas on this team... my only complaint so far is that we have not added a pass rusher
