I think it's about time I started one of these things, hopefully I'll bring some good luck to the draft so we don't **** this up.

Nice! I had this guy projected exactly 142nd to KC. He made an impression during the week of the Senior Bowl.

I see a clear philosophy at work up to this point...whether you agree with it or not. They apparently have supreme confidence in both Crennell and Weis to coach up anyone that will gut it out and be teachable. It seems each of these picks will do exactly that. This is where our OC and DC will earn their money. Can they coach these players into difference-makers that will make up for the fact we have holes elsewhere.

Because let's be honest. This team is not going to win games due to having each position covered by an NFL calibur starter. This team is going to win with a "no quit" group of guys and big plays...because we're going to leak yardage from the opposing offenses all day. It will be the big play...the end-zone interceptions...the sacks (by our new "blitzing cornerback") and the fumble recoveries that will be our bread and butter. If it doesn't work out that way...we're ROYALLY screwed.

Well, we're done. After two drafts I conclude that it was in fact Bill Bilicek who was the genius behind the Patriots success.

After Berry, sounds like we have picked a bunch of "great character" guys with the height and speed of Napoleon.

We really like 'em small and slow.

While he may never develop into a front-line player, he should excel as a nickel corner in Romeo Crennel's scheme.
