HOnestly, I never assume the stuff on the boats is scripted. Never really thought of it that way. The other stuff is pretty painful to watch sometimes.

Having said that, I know I had a lump in my throat watching the last 5 minutes. Didn't see the Jake thing coming, though the signs were there. I hope it wasn't scripted because that would be a pretty shitty thing for a "reality" show to do.

And it's one of the few "reality" shows that people assume is actually pretty real.
