Germany are beatable. Sure, they dominated Australia, but so did we. The only reason they put the extra 2 past Australia was because they were up a man.

That being said, Germany should have won today. They were unlucky with some shots off the woodwork.

Lets put it this way. Both the US and Germany were put down in the first half, and had to use the 2nd half for a comeback.

The US overcame a 2 goal defecit with 11 men, and Germany couldn't overcome a 1 goal defecit with 10 men (even though it was one of their best players).

I would say that Germany is definitely beatable for the US after what they showed today.

oh im on the page that the US can compete with any team out there right now... shit we beat Spain the Confed cup and we almost beat Brazil in the final.. when we play our best we can hang with anyone

I think they played down to the competition today. If they stop that, yes they can beat anyone on a given day.

Still think Brazil beats them in 90 out of 100 matches.

more than likely.. but if we play a full 90 like we played the 2nd half against Slovenia.. we will be tough to beat against any team.. thats a big IF though
