The one thing you are missing are the (2) 15 min extra time (OT). In that way, each team has 30 minutes of chances to win AND if it is still tied, they BOTH get (5) PK shots. In the NFL, coin flip, march 30-40 yds, FG -> game over. There is around a 50% chance the other team never touches the ball again. That is insane and I have always hated it.
