It was one year ago that Bernard Pollard missed five tackles in one preseason game. Angered by his ineptness, I gif'd his ass up.



The gifs didn't lie. Pollard was exposed as a fraud, cut and banished from Kansas City. Emboldened by this great success, I created a massive a thread in which we exposed every fraud on the 2009 Kansas City Chiefs.



No one escaped the wrath of GIF'D UP. Every week, the ****ing axe came down with thunder. It was brutal, it was bloody, and it used up a ****ton of bandwidth.

GIF'D UP is back for 2010 and season two. We're going to expose every fraud on the 2010 Kansas City Chiefs. Let's get this show on the road. There are 20 weeks to the Super Bowl, Corey Mays, Jon McGraw, Ryan O'Failaghan and Rudy Niswanger are still Chiefs, and we need to send Mike Vrabel into early retirement.

GoChiefs, you should gif up Haley calling plays without protecting his face while doing so about every week.

I wouldnt be a bit surprised if opposing teams are keyed into it by now.

Really, this shit is chess not checkers and he should really be doing what every damn coach in the league does.

Cover his face while calling plays.

all a team has to do is hire a lip reader and it wouldnt take long to start knowing when something is coming.

This play perfectly illustrates what I've been railing on Cassel for since before he was our QB - the kid doesn't know what 'open' is.

He needed the throw that ball a step before that frame even, just before Chambers is making the break. The backpedaling safety should've made for an easy read on the quick slant, especially when the LB broke for the back in the flat. It was an easy throw for a legitimate NFL QB to make. Even a guy with an Orton level physical skill-set will be intelligent enough to read and make that throw.

But Cassel doesn't do that...ever. He waits until he sees a guy running uncovered. He's has a High School qb mentality because he never played enough football in college or the pros to re-define 'open' for this level.

He's a disaster. He's an absolute disaster.

Do we really need to watch that to know that Rodgers is lightyears ahead of Cassel? Rodgers would be more productive on IR than Cassel is when playing.

Comparing Cassel to Rogers is like comparing Kyle Davies to Walter Johnson. At some point, it's not really worth the comparison. I mean let's face it - do you want Matt Cassel attempting that throw? If Cassel tries it, he overthrows it and Bethea comes up with a red-zone pick. Nope, Cassel doesn't need to be throwing between 3 defenders.

No, the problem is really that Cassel loses that very same comparison to Orton or Jason Campbell. Orton or Campbell don't attempt that throw either, but they damn sure hit Chambers on an easy read and an open crossing route.
