All this started because a guy posted a video of a 10 year old kid that kicked ass playing guitar.

No, it's not.

It comes down to the fact that people don't know what they're hearing. I tried to correct a few people because I DO know what's going on, and it, of course, turned into a Dane-Bashfest.

I'm sorry that people are ignorant but I just can't stand for it.

If this were an IT issue, the thread starter would be dogpiled into submission. But because it was about "music" and I chimed in, people act like assholes.

I apologized FOUR ****ING TIMES for people's inability to distinguish what was happening in the video.

What would have had me do?

I KNOW what is going on that video. Gus G. is doing ALL of the guitar work until the solo, and even then, he's playing underneath the kid.

Most people can't hear these things on their laptops or computer speakers. Their eyes fool them into believing that what they're hearing is what they're seeing. Simple slight of hand.

It's not an insult, it's a FACT.

Give me any audio professional that's spent more than 10 years in the recording business and they'll hear the same exact thing.

If you love blasting people then go for it. It just seems like it upsets you sometimes. Having Naive effect me would is like being insulted by a 6 year old Gotta kind of laugh and move on. I can't answer for you but I post on here for a number of reasons:
1. I have met some great people on here and am able to exchange ideas and test some of my own beliefs.

2. Talk about the Chiefs.

3. Talk about sports in general.

There are a lot of meatheads on here though as there are in life in general. Getting all caught up in their madness is a waste of my time. The whole pitbull dealio is where the lights went on for me. I am not beyond the occasional bitch slap these days though. They can still be fun.

Anyway, I am out. Made my last calls to New Delhi and the pillow is sounding pretty good.
