I don't care so much about the 5 safeties thing because Washington can slide over to corner.

They also play special teams.

It's the ****ing O'Connell, Cox, Lawerence trio that has me furious.

Yea let me tell you, you know what inspires confidence? Running a 3-4 where LB is an extremely important position and watching our team make no attempt to improve it.

And of course, one of the two fullbacks.

The rest, I can't understand. I'd rather have Daryl Harris.
My point is pick, if you like Washington and want McGraw to be a backup great, that means Price, Langford and Daniels don't make the team.

Colin Brown will be on the practice squad I'm sure. Which is awesome that your 5th round pick has to spend 2 years on the practice squad of a team that's line isn't all that great.

He wasn't on the PS last year. They hid him on IR (like Urban this year) with a bullshit injury.

Jackson was going nowhere regardless. Magee I agree about. Niswanger better not be starting.

Weigmann is old, slow, but he can run circles around the fake Rudy.

OLB, yes.

ILB is not that important a position in a 3-4. NT, OLB, CB, DE, ILB, Safety. And I'd flip Safety in importance because there's a lot of playmaking potential.

I probably would have kept Washington in their position...but um Travis Daniels?

That's nice and all but when you're starting someone like Corey Mays who is complete and total trash it's a serious problem.

I dump Magee and claim Jarron Gilbert.

If he's worse than Magee, dump him, reconfigure your D-line gap assignments and start Gilberry.

You have to give up 200 yards per game rushing before ILB becomes important.

170 doesn't cut it.

This defense is going to set the NFL record for rushing yards given up per game

Don't have a problem w/these three guys. Jackson didn't do anything to play himself on the roster. He's still the best starter they have at the 5-techinque. He wasn't good this preseason, but he wasn't bad either. Magee, I think, is worthless, but I don't think you can afford to lose any D-linemen even if they're horrible. And Niswanger, for as much shit as he gets, he's more than adequate for quality depth. Don't want him starting, but he's fine as a backup.
