okay in all seriousness I'd take Troy Smith for a 3rd stringer. I remember last year he was supposed to beat out Flacco but he got sick. Now he's cut.

Palko can't run like Troy Smith can. Smith's last preaseason game he threw for 237 yards 2 INT's , but ran in 2 TD's. Palko only had 1 TD this preason and it was rushing Smith at least threw 1 TD. So for a 3rd stringer I'd take Smith over Leinart. Palko was just terrible. He didn't even play the last preseason game. On paper Smith did way more than Palko did this preseason.

If I recall there was a big debate about the #3 QB last year as well.

Personally I don't give a shit because I don't want them to see the field anyway and if they do we are likely ****ed anyway.

If we wanted to trade for someone or draft someone that looks like a REAL franchise QB, let's do it. However Leinart has been a complete and utter failure and bust.
