Vick has shown he can win football games...he may not put up the prettiest stat lines but he's such a mess for opposing teams to gameplan for...

Give him a good defense and a great rushing attack and he could win 12-13 games..no doubt...

and once you get in the playoffs and have that home crowd...who knows?

You're right, sometimes that's how teams win. I am happy to get those wins when we can. But I want a team that also wins due to being better than the other team. I think the proper use of Charles would help a lot with that.

I agree with the notion that we "stole" a victory from San Diego...even though we shelled up in the 2nd half and basically decided Rivers was going to beat us, or our defense was going to beat Rivers.

However...

We are clearly a superior team to Cleveland...they got a gift TD on an illegal contact call...and we made one big mistake on a great playcall...

but other than that...our offense outplayed their offense...and our defense outplayed their defense...

and we were on the road.

The Mathews fumble was a HUGE momentum shift...just like the Charles run and the McCluster punt return...

we play that game 10 times...I think we win 3.5 times. I can't decide between 3 or 4 so I went with 3.5.

I am fairly sure JC's sped will be the only way we get any rushing yards against SF. That defense is fast.
