Cassel just had one of the shittiest first halves ever.

All he did was dump the ****ing ball off.

His QB rating is 95.3.

Henceforth, any defense of Cassel using the QB rating statistic will be completely ignored and ridiculed.

This has been a public service announcement.

That's sick.

Why would a 10 year old boy want to be banging a woman approaching 80?

Exactly. I'm glad we're at 5-2 now. But it sure as hell isn't because of Cassel.

That really doesn't matter. We need stellar play in all facets during a win or it doesn't count.

This fanbase has become comical in 5 weeks. We won 10 games in 3 years and became so numb that no one really cared when we lost.

Now, we win games that we'd always lose, and they want to take players out back and shoot them.

Cassel stinks and is this teams worst starter. There's no getting around that. But he did play well on that last drive and could have folded. He didn't. Progress.

On a side note that's been bugging me, that Bills team hung 30+ on the Ravens in their backyard and after the game the Ravens performance was called gritty and tough to come back like that. The Chiefs do it, and people act like they were exposed. I don't get it.

At this point Cassel doesn't bother me anymore. We all know what he is. The coaching staff calls plays to protect him because they know what he is.

Is he a long term answer? Obviously No.

But for this year there's nothing we can do. So I'm fine with his play as long as he avoids the big INT.

Good take. That's how I feel. He's the QB. The team is stuck with him, so as long as he isn't screwing up and costing games, I can live with it. The same people have been bitching about him for the past 1 1/2 years. It's pointless; it's old. Hopefully KC will be in a position to take a QB in 2011. Until then, I'll enjoy the W's and hope KC can Dilfer/Grossman it's way to a playoff victory this year.

I just can't see this continuing past this season. If it's this obvious to us, then it has to be that obvious to Chiefs management as well. I can't see Haley and Weis telling Pioli they are happy with the play they are getting from their QB. I don't know who we could bring in this offseason, but I'm sure they will be looking.
