Just got back from the game. Gotta admit, I was tempted to leave after the third quarter, but we wanted to stay for the human hamster ball race. Glad I did. Wanted to rush the field, but they wouldn't let us.

It was amazing and epic. My 2nd favorite KU football memory of all-time.

KU is a terrible football school but if you rushed the field after beating an 0 and whatever Big 12 team I just might have had to slap you.

We wanted to celebrate with the football players. As soon as the whistle blew, most of them rushed over to the student section to try and celebrate with us, but we were all kept apart.

The largest comeback in the history of the program deserves a little more than just polite clapping as the game ends. Those guys played great at the end of the game, and were pretty fired up and emotional. But, I guess you had to be there.

I don't know man...if I was a KU football player busting my ass everyday and people rushed the field after we beat Colorado...I would actually think they are making fun of us and it would be like a slap on the face that they are so excited..as in it was an anomaly and we were being mocked. Surely your intentions are not that, but I guess that would just be my interpretation of it.

Nah. Everyone was pretty adulatory. More like a celebration of the fact that, for once, the team didn't flat out quit when the game looked to be out of reach. The players were pumped, the fans were pumped, and even Turner Gill actually showed emotion.
