Three reasons the Chiefs choke and miss the playoffs.

At least two of these guys are going to run all over the Chiefs.

If I cared enough to go read your WPI articles from the past 5 years I'm sure I could find many examples of it. You have a long, long record of stupid shit all over the internet, I'm sure you know this.

I'm talking about this year.

Not once have I proclaimed the Chiefs to be some awesome team on the rise.

But you did when Herman was in town? He sucked, the team sucked when he was there.

The team has turned the corner from being the bottom dwellers and have started the climb back to respectability, it's a shame that you hate the team so much all you can do is sling shit in every article.

Most fans see vast improvement over the past 4 years, all you see is a continuation of the old style.

Try seeing the accomplishments the Chiefs have made and how it will impact them over the next 2-3 years.

You really need to go back and read some of the things I've written this year. It's not all negative. What it is is realistic.

And 31-0 is not indicative of a climb back to respectability.

He's the only chiefs related source you're gonna get any semi-objective information and statistical research out of. All these other asshats (Gretz, Baab et. al) have their head stuck so far up Pioli's ass it's not even funny.

You don't have to like his opinions, but he usually does a pretty good job backing them up with solid evidence.

Watch what all the Pioli ballwashers are saying about Cassell this offseason. GoChiefs will be the only one who brings up stuff like his record when failing to get 100 yds rushing compared to other QBs (and similar info.) which is a lot closer to reality then what you'll hear from the rest.

When it comes to the draft GoChiefs will likely be the only writer who actually researches how many of our top players were actually team captains in college (hint hint) and writes an article about it, killing the typical bullshit thrown out by Pioli and his band of cronies.

In short, a lot of people don't like GoChiefs because they can't handle the truth, but some people need to hear the truth and GoChiefs isn't afraid to tell it.
I partially agree with you here. But what discredits GoChiefs is his penchant for swinging from one extreme opinion to the total opposite extreme in mere days. He falls in total love with a player, a coach or a Chiefs roster and suddenly he acts like a totally jilted lover.

If there were more than one 31-0 game you might have a point, but there have only been 2 games the Chiefs were not in.

Realistic would be to write of how there were failures not to report that the team was a fraud. I really don't know where your head is most of the time when you write but you could be good if you put your mind to it.

Whitlock was a good writer, but he seems to have had the style that you picked up on. He wrote some non-football articles that were absolutely great, but his penchant was to demean the Chiefs at every turn.

If you are a fan you don't hide the facts but you also do not try to tear down the team because you didn't see what you expected. the 31-0 game just showed that they were not prepared for the game and the loss of Cassel had more to do with the outcome than anything else. With Cassel at QB the game would have been a tossup in my opinion, could have gone either way.

I'm not going to get into the side arguments, but getting back on topic, he's right.

Our run defense has been pretty bad the past 6 games, not counting Seattle - they didn't even try to run the ball, 10-12 attempts at most.

Not a good time to face the 3 RB's coming up.

So what will be your comments if the Chiefs win out?

My question would be "Is the run defense better than it was last year?"

We are not what I would call a SB contender, but we have made progress towards becoming one.

Expecting the playoffs and more this year is really a stretch, but the team has made a better run than in the past. The Chiefs are on track to return to greatness.

What does any of what you just posted have to do with my post?

My post was pretty easy to grasp. Our run defense of late has been poor. We face 3 good backs to end the season.

Nothing more, nothing less.

Yes, and meanwhile, we've padded the rest of our record against complete shit teams, and struggled against several of them.

And the last time we had a game with big standings implications, we blew that, too. See Oakland.

We're frauds, and we'll prove it in the playoffs.

You're a moron.

The entire team played like shit. The front seven was god awful. They didn't look like a playoff caliber team in any way.
