If Cassel had gone to Dungver with McDaniel, would there be ANYONE other than Just Passing By defending him or saying positive things about his overall play as a Quarterback on Chiefs Planet?

Yeah, the problem with that (from the organization's perspective) is that we'd be talking about a guy who could and should be starting from the jump, like a Kolb.

I would bet good money that Pioli views the Chiefs as Cassel's team. Drafting a QB, however, wouldn't necessarily **** with that vision in the immediate future.
