YOU have no business talking about quarterbacks when you don't know about them. You can't ask us to draft a QB in the first round when you don't even know which QBs are available and what their strengths are.

You were firmly behind Cassel from the beginning. You and I went back and forth for months and months. And now, Even YOU have seen the light!

Come on people:

The writing has been on the wall all season. Throw the body overboard for the sake of the survivors! PLEASE!

I'd actually pay good money to watch Rosie O'Donnell quarterback against the Ravens defense.

I saw the light after Colts game and joined Cassaholics Anonymous. I went down the aisle at church and went down to my knees at the altar, weeping to Jesus that I had been blind but now could see. 70 yards. 70 YARDS!!! My dead mother threw for just 70 yards less that sunday than Mass Cattle did.

Makes me a bit sick that they're so good defensively that he's getting into the playoffs, and winning games, despite the fact that he's just not a very good QB so far.

(Never bothered me with Roethlisberger, for instance, who I liked coming out...)

Part of it's also the Cassel/Sanchez thing. I never wanted Cassel and I've never been a fan of the guy, but the pro-Sanchez guys are so obnoxious about it sometimes that it's hard not to root against him.

Your best games were good but 70 an 90 yard passing games (when behind) are ****ing kill-yourself ****ing awful.

Love to trade Bowe and Casshole...

Denver rookie QB John Elway, on Jack Lambert, after Lambert and the Steelers knocked Elway out of his first game as a pro (1983).

If Cassel had gone to Dungver with McDaniel, would there be ANYONE other than Just Passing By defending him or saying positive things about his overall play as a Quarterback on Chiefs Planet?

I think not.

It might actually work out better for KC in the long run, however, if they're able to do what you and I surmise, which is Cassel bridging the gap between the building years and the QBotF, whoever he might be.

But I'm also not completely against the idea of bringing in another vet, as long as it's somebody along the lines of Brees or Cutler. Those trades seemed to work out pretty well (although I completely expect Cutler to cost the Bears the NFC Championship tomorrow).

The trick is finding a team with either the depth at the position to make the trade (Eggo...) or stupid enough to make it (Dungver...).

Which leaves you with choices between a guy like Cassel or a guy like Sanchez.
Yeah, the problem with that (from the organization's perspective) is that we'd be talking about a guy who could and should be starting from the jump, like a Kolb.

I would bet good money that Pioli views the Chiefs as Cassel's team. Drafting a QB, however, wouldn't necessarily **** with that vision in the immediate future.
