Beards - Page 4

So I am looking for a little advice on the facial hair... I have long bounced between the goatee and clean shaven. I have never NEVER liked the mustache. I have tried the beard before, but I was never satisfied.

I am trying again, but I suspect that my problem is that I let it get too long, or I don't know how to properly groom the beard. I am going to keep it closely trimmed this time and see how it goes.

Just curious what everyone thinks of beard grooming.

Second, I pretty much said that I won't shave it until it gets bushy...so of course I don't shave, cause I'm letting it grow without my help until it gets bushy. Right now each hair is about a quarter of an inch (when you take drafting for a certain amount of time, you don't need rulers for small measurements...strange, isn't it?) The goatee should be in about March 2003 and the beard should be bushy by November 2003

Good question.

He's pretty set on not working anything fast food.

If he doesn't have a full goatee by March and a beard by November, he has to go to Taco Bell, fill out an application, and work one 8 hour shift. Yeah, this is a better bet for people twice his age, who are past their days of minimum wage jobs, but this is someone who wants to get paid for getting out of bed in the morning.

Well, we could do it....but I wouldn't use a razor....instead, I'd use Duct Tape.

What are you willing to bet that I already have chest hair? Do you have tickets to the December 22nd game? Put those up, and I'll put up $40.

BTW, if I lose the original bet, bearcat2002 can choose my avatar and signature for a year. Since the bet is a beard by November 2003, he would be able to choose my avatar and signature from December 2003 to December 2004. Remember, I have until 11:59pm on November 31, 2002.

If we're going to make a big deal out of this, we need to set the guidelines of what acutally constitutes a beard.

Peach fuzz (I'm betting that's exactly what you've got going on over there with your bad self) does not count.
