Found this flipping through channels earlier - basically a game warden version of Cops. Trying to portray deer poachers as if they're ****ing serial killers.

Deer poaching - O the humanity. Especially considering there are so few of them left and all.

Well that's for spot lighting, but that is the most common form of poaching around here.

I don't have an issue with them enforcing the laws, but I'm sure there are some Conservation Officers that take it to the extreme...never watched the show.

I saw the show and didn't care for it.

But, on the other hand, in Montana it's a pretty dangerous job. These guys go into armed hunting camps alone and are expected to do their jobs. They're thinned out here and have no back-up in most places. They're expected to go into camps alone, out gunned and enforce the law. It's not my dream job.

There's a lot of places to hide a body around here!

I know quite a few of them around the state. The ones, that are outdoorsmen, that see you poach to feed your family, will look away. But, poach just to kill, they'll tag your ass.

The ones that are biologists and are gung-ho...they're the ones who ticket you for using the wrong color worm on your hook. They're the douche bags.

The warden in my area catches bear alone and releases them alone. Not something I'd care to do.

The show is melodramatic crap. I'm sure the agents are getting coaxed by the camera crews to spout off all this shit, but it's really over the top. The suspenseful score only adds to the bullshit level. These guys are killing deer, not komodo dragons.

Clearly this show is aimed as idiot-ass liberal city people who get their outdoors from TV and ski lodges. HOW DARE YOU TRY TO KILL BAMBI YOU BASTARDS!

i have no problem at all w/shooting a deer to feed the family.

it's the dickheads that spotlight and shoot bucks on other peoples property just to cut off the rack and leave them lay. these people need to be busted.

couple years ago, a friend and i were arrowhead hunting and came up to a bridge where we counted 17 buck deer w/either the rack, or the whole head cut off of them all. f@ckers just dumped them off the bridge. a-holes.

same goes w/the bastards that pot-shoot entire coveys of quail from their truck.

I use to hunt Deer, bagged many of them over the years and then one day I lost my desire to pull the trigger...

I appreciate Deer hunters harvesting them and reducing the numbers to keep the roads safer and I also have no problem whatsoever with those who eat their kill, not just cut the back straps out of a deer and cut the horns off but harvest all the meat off the animal.

I agree. Is it really professional to keep refering to people as "dirt bags" on camera? The show is a little melodramatic.
