I like Fisher. It's a shame that he had Bud Adams as an owner all these years. Plus, he's been saddled with a couple of GMs who didn't seem to fully comprehend the salary cap. I've watched that team very closely and eventually came to believe that Fisher got more production out of less talent than any other coach in the league for many, many years. The other problem he had was winding up in a division that included the Mannings ... a situation reminiscent of Marty and Horseface.

Apparently, there was some kind of recent problem, though, that involved re-signing some staff members without consulting Reinfeldt (the current GM). I think this is a case where Fisher either got too comfortable or too controlling ... or both.

I will say this about the guy ... he had the magic touch when it came to developing defensive linemen. I don't know how they did it, but they could take rookies and scrubs and turn them into disruptors. You go, Fisher.

The presser is very interesting.

The KC media dudes could learn a lot from these Nashville guys. This is on the verge of turning into a fistfight. Great questions. Very probing and somewhat confrontational.

Crazy press conference. The radio station is now fielding calls from fans who are totally pissed.

They're supposed to be sending in their ticket money in February to see a team with no coach, no quarterback, no DC, a sick OC, and an executive vice-president who refuses to tell them what's going on. This could be worse than KC's Herm years.

The GM did say that the organization has hundreds of years of NFL experience working on these issues. Although, he didn't explain how those hundreds of years couldn't help them avoid these problems in the first place. This is a mess.

I would rather have rehired Marty than hire Jeff Fisher.

Believe me, I'd much rather have Haley. At the time, before we even knew who Haley was, I really wanted Fischer. I'm hoping he goes to the Jags.

I think it's best that we put all this behind us.

So, I want to share this video song deal with you guys. It's Steve Marriot and Ronnie Lane and the boys singing one of the greatest singles ever recorded in the history of the universe. It should cheer you up and make you forget all the bad things that might happen to you in the future.

I think Floyd Resse comprehended it, his style was to go all out, all or nothing, try to win a SuperBowl, then blow it up. He said so on his radio shows. The problem is he never got the SuperBowl win. But he knew what he was doing, and probably knew he would get fired when it was time to blow it up without a SuperBowl win. He was basicially trying to do what the Florida Marlins did but never got the ring.
