New Phone?

OK folks I'm sure someone has asked this, but I really don't give a shit....

I'm due for an upgrade on my phone, and I'm not sure what I want.
I'm a Verizon user, and have the choice between the Android/Blackberry/IPhone4 platforms
My Choices HERE

I currently using a Blackberry Curve, and like that platform.

I think the only thing I'm leery of is the pure touch screen phones, as I prefer a keyboard. But I guess I'm open to suggestions.

So lets here what the voice of the people have to say.... Educate me

**EDIT** Well I ended up buying the DROID X

Alright, I'm going to enter the fray here looking for some facts and opinions.

Wife and I both have BlackBerry Storms from Verizon. We want to stay with Verizon. We want Androids.

Would you suggest, say, a Droid X at 3G? Or go whole hog for an HTC Thunderbolt at 4G?

Is the 4G worth pursuing now? Or can we live with 3G for awhile?

Or should I skip Droids and wait for the new Verizon iPhone later this year that will be 4G?

Looks like the Thunderbolt is now delayed until March.

Last I saw it was March 4, just a week away. Is it now longer?

This is the best advice you'll get. All the other shit is simply money thrown down a hole. 56$ "everything plan."

I'm a Sprint user (56$ "everything plan.") and have a pretty sweet deal as it is with the corp discount. But I'm going to go with a cheaper alternative in a few weeks. There is simply no good reason to shell out $ for phone.

Nothing's confirmed. I've heard both March 4 and March 21.

The Blackberry Torch gives you touch screen and keypad. But, I think you can only get it with AT&T. I really like mine

Not all Droids are created equal (Methinks).
Honestly, it's tough to say. I think that most of them have a battery rating of some sort, but the actual battery life is heavily dependent on how you use the phone.

Thanks....
Yup, if a man wants the latest greatest gadget then he has to pay the latest greatest price....I don't have to have that, as long as I have email txting and a phone I am good to go....

The actual cost of the phone or plan does not bother me that much, it's the contracts I despise....

When a man is livin on the edge with debt, and say he breaks a leg or God forbid worse, Verizon and Att still wants that payment every month.....Prepaid phone plans just turn it off....

Now if somebody here gets butt hurt thinking I am trying to tell them how to spend their own money, save your breath, I just want to see you get the most value as possible for your dollar....
