It is perfect. I used to think that it was great to get free beverages while gambling, but it ends up costing a lot more while being frustrating.

Oh, NEVER sign up for free ANYTHING. Those bastards will literally grab you while walking by and try to get you to come to a free dinner while they press you for a time-share sale. I have never been burned, but I just about punched a a salesman for grabbing my shoulder.

First time I went to Vegas 9 years ago we stayed at the IP. Cheap, but it is right in the middle of everything. Besides, you don't sleep when at Vegas, so who gives a shit?


Mechanical horse races are pretty fun when you get a good group of 10-12 player going. Bar was 2 seconds away and the waitresses hit us every cycle. Good times.

I hear you; when I was a kid we roadtripped out there and slept in the car the first night becasue there weren't any rooms.

You're going to have to be more specific. Name a venue.

That would be perfect though. Cheap places to get drinks and cool stuff to see. Gambling is for suckers. I'd rather spend my money on booze.

I called Imperial Palace and they told me they haven't had the horserace table for years due to maintenance cost. Check out the MGM like a previous poster said.
