Help me find a new place to live!
OK, so I am looking at a new place to live in downtown Austin... and I am having trouble finding a new place. Unfortunately, I will be out of town for the next 4-6 weeks and will likely need to find a place using the good old Interwebz while travelling. My parameters are as follows...

no further East than a street called Waller, no further West than Lavaca Street, no further North than 10th ST and no further south than 1st st.

This has left me with very few choices... (also, I have ruled out the AMLI and Red River Flats)

OK, so I have attached a map with a red box denoting largest area to live and a green fro preferred...

I figure I'll let the collective wisdom of the Planet help me pick where I should live. I'll post the few places I have found and would love some feedback.

Oh, I'm single, have no pets, want a balcony...

The 1st link is a definite no... the 2nd is one of my faves but there is only one place available in that building and it is fully furnished, so not what I need. THE perfect place was available in that building but I found out the listing online was really old and it was leased in December... so I may do a 6-7 month lease and hope it comes available again... but that still leaves me looking for a place now.

btw.. the perfect place... had its own private 300 sq ft balcony with a hot tub on it... when you live 2 blocks away from the busiest nightlife area, I imagine that would be handy.

I like Austin. I was there last July for a concert at Bee Cave.

I only need 1 bedroom... I am willing to go pretty high if the place is worth it.. but don't bother searching the MLS, I get notified automatically whenever anything new gets put into it... and there is crap all there right now... I listed the only decent ones.

I have found good luck with in kc so far, seems better with listings that the big sites or realtor.com do not show. Never tried the lease option on there.
