He's fast as shit, he's smart as shit, has a decent arm, and came through clutch late in a huge game (Boise St.).
I say, why not? If not now, when? Backup/Developmental QB is a very serious need for our team. One step closer to becoming a complete team. This position typically is not easily acquired through FA, so we may as well do it now.
