I may literally laugh until I pee myself if Carolina takes Cam Newton.

If Houston nabs Aldon Smith, that is going to be one fierce pass rush with Mario Williams on the other side.

Thats what it's looking like if they can't get out of the pick..which i highly doubt they will

been watching nfl network and it seems like their consensus top 10 is

1. Newton
2. Dareus
3. Miller
4. Green
5. Gabbert
6.Quinn
7. Peterson
8. Fairley
9. Smith
10. Jones

Not saying your wrong, that's just what i've been seeing a lot

Really? I'm not saying I'm right, but I wouldn't have this reaction at all. They're in the perfect place to take this type of player, if they believe in him.

The Pouncey pick is dumb as ****, though, and Cleveland would clearly have the steal of the draft.

I don't see a superstar in him, but a solid 10 year starter. I think his skill set fits perfect for what the Chiefs use in an outside backer.

That's the thing.

Ayers doesn't excite me, but I think he's exactly the kind player that Pioli likes.

My hope, should we select him, is that he plays above the level of his play at UCLA as an NFL player, much as Matthews in Green Bay has.

This. I guess I can see the ticket sales argument, but Rivera just doesn't strike me as the type to put up with Newton's antics. I hope they take Dareus, leaving Denver with a choice between the 2 best defenders in the draft, Peterson and Miller.

I think we pick Carimi. Just seems to be a "safe" pick.

Yeah, sorry.

Got my wires crossed cause I was drawing the comparison to Matthews.

I'm thinking Ayers will perform at a higher level in the NFL than he did as a college player.
